This is a picture of me.

The Hermit from the Piedmontese tarot deck, F. F. Solesio, 1865

Well, sort of.

I don’t have a long white beard, nor do I walk with a hunched back. I only occasionally wear flowing robes, my walking stick is shorter (and more stylish), and I tend to use the torch app on my phone rather than a candle lamp.

But this is still an image which partially represents me, in my role as a worker and of magic for 30 years and counting, and a teacher of magic for 15.

It is The Hermit, the 9th Major Arcanum of the Tarot. It is symbolic of the role of guide and mentor, one who shines light in occult (i.e. hidden) places, and assists the seeker on their inner journey.

And that? That most definitely is me.

I am currently only offering support in the form of apprenticeship in Feri/Faery Witchcraft.
